December 21, 2012: A spiritual awakening?

What will happen on December 21, 2012 – a spiritual awakening for mankind, or nothing at all? I examine some psychological aspects of the belief in the significance of this date.

Hi Fellow Seeker – Thank goodness for every human being (dogs too if they can!) who takes out or reduces the fear of the 2012 stuff. Blessings on your sweet Irish heart, Darryl. – With love from Amy Nora Doyle – physically from a wee island off the west coast of British Columbia, Canada, and whose soul still resides in the wildest part of Ireland.

Thank you, this video gave me so much.
There was a time when I believed that something is going to happen in 2012. I wanted to believe. I also wanted to do other supernatural things, levitate etc.. There was something as you said: lack in me.
You opend my eyes. Well I havent believed hard in 2012 for a long time but now I can finally say that there is no need for anything. Ofcourse Im not are going to be sad if there would be some alien contacts or light-bodies 😀

When I wanted to full fill my lacks I read a lot of spiritual books. But there were really books that I love still. Books that really helps. Then there was books like The Secret. I think you have heard. I would like to know what you think. In my own life thought=act. My life has gone well being conscious what Im thinking and I wanna think positive. Really it is hard to tell but I think there is something true in that subject.

I have read many books about being happy. I would like to ask you to read Neale Donald Walsch books (convertsations with god). Mostly things like what you have said 🙂 That changed my life I can tell.

But there is still some lack.. Then I found Zeitgeist-movement and The Venus Project. Then I saw bright future for us. A conscious evolution as I would say. The Venus project aims to life that human life SHOULD be. No need to do boring 8-hour work just cose of money. That is the way I wanna go. Now Im interested in politics. Doing things WORK -better.

Problem is money now cose there would be so much things to do better but money is on the way. In Finland there is diesel-taxes to pay if you drive electric-car -what idiotism!?

So, making long story to shorter: I think that our purpose is to make space in which we are living in better. To make your and others lives better. We have to be that change that we want to see. It up to us. You, me, them, us, all.

I recommed Walsch’s books but I also recommend to listen Jacque Fresco. He really have so much to say.

    But thank you -again!

Conversations with God is a great series of books and I appreciated that Walsch was authenically addled about that inner voice. Loved the responses. As I read the books, I thought that even if it was not true, think of all the GOOD that was being injected into the world.

David Wilcock has many videos on You Tube and offers lots of positive views on 2012. If you are curious, Darryl,(and Jani) he’s really worth some time.

Yeah, even if Walsch’s books would be false they still have so much knowledge and good in them.

I subscribe Wilcock. He can speak very well but there is still something I cant believe etc.

Thanks for your reply Amy 🙂

    Darryl,
what is your opinion on channeling?
Well, that is almost biggest question in my life cose there is friend of mine in whom I trust and he says he can channel (I have listened some of his recordings too)

There is one channeler, Darryl Anka, who channels Bashar. If that Darryl is just fake, atleast Bashar’s philosophy is nice

  6. Darryl Sloan says:

My stance on channelling is highly skeptical. If I hear one whose words repeatedly prove reliable, I’ll change my mind. The trouble with the philosophising of a channeller is that he can say all the right things because he’s well read. The one example of this I would cite is Ramtha (aka JZ Knight). In the movie “What the Bleep Do We Know?!” Ramtha says all sorts of insightful things that I can get on board with. However, I take one look at all his/her ridiculous dress-up, and I wince. I look at his/her enlightenment seminars and I wince even more.

Anyone who claims to have a special message of enlightenment to save the human race, or take us to the next level, or whatever way this is worded – all these teachers are playing into a basic human need, the need to satisfy a longing for something that’s perceived as incomplete or malfunctioning about ourselves. They reap the financial rewards while dishing out placebos to the human race in the guise of enlightenment.

I believe I see the con very clearly in all its varied forms. And I choose not to play. I see beyond my need for fulfilment, recognising it as natural existence as it was meant to be lived – and the driving force of all desire.

  7. WM_ says:

Well yes, it would be very easy to trick human mind that is lacking something and needs something. It is so easy to say what others want to hear.
But I really have heard channeling from my friend. If I never had heard from him, i wouldn’t believe. Thats the tricky point..

  8. Darryl Sloan says:

Are you familiar with DesteniProductions on YouTube. I used to watch this lady doing channellings, just out of curiosity. Then she claimed to channel Anton LaVey (founder of the Church of Satan), and all I could think was, “Bah! What bollocks!” I’m very familiar with LaVey’s philosophy and personality. Desteni was basically putting on a show, and not a very good one.

Maybe some of these people are doing it for real. I would take some convincing. Regarding your experience with your friend, you being convinced does little to sway me, as for all I know, you might not be familiar with a tactic called cold-reading, which has fooled many an audience. I would have to witness this for myself.

  9. WM_ says:

Well yeah, I have read very poor channelings too. One was from Michael Jacson and he said that something big is going to happen etc.. I had to laught for that.

That friend of mine have had some very strange channel-messages too. Some trolls and elf even!
So Im 90% skeptical but that 10% that is left bothers me.

Maby I believe when someone talks via me. But then I may be inside hospital already 😀

    These are strange things..

A critical discerning factor for me is what motive seems to be behind the person’s actions. When I see spotlights, grandiosity and “look at me” attitudes, I go the other way. I will investigate and let my intuition help me decide if I even want to listen or read any messaging.

The mystics in different spiritual paths have been shunned, made fun of, turned away and rejected. Many prophesies of old have borne truth and people like Edgar Cayce did phenomenally good works. All the people who I believe are truly responding to some form of guidance are doing it for the good of others. It’s not about self-aggrandizement.

If the motive seems acceptable to me, I’ll investigate. And someone wanting to put food in their mouths is an acceptable motive to me when there is demonstrated evidence of helping others in a spirit of love. Dazzling or throwing glitter is not.

An old chestnut – I don’t want to throw the baby out with the bath water. – Amy
