How can a Christian believe that God has a special plan for his life, when we live in a world where an innocent five-year-old girl can be kidnapped, raped, and murdered?
Right on. I love it when on TV they show a football team huddling up before the opening kickoff and they’re praying to God to be victorious. On the other sideline, the exact same thing is happening.
At the end of the game, the winners then thank God for his support.
I think that the point to this is that regardless of religious beliefs or even upbringing…some people have serious mental health issues that do not allow them to see or understand the impact of their decisions other than the gratification of the moment. If we can all understand this first, we can then leave the good and evil out of the equasion and thustly leave the “who to blame” out of the conversation and we can get down to the business of finding out why some people are born this way and then hopefully get to a point where we can eliminate this obvious birth defect. Religious people, wake up…the Earth isn’t flat and we aren’t the center of the universe!
